Fire crews were called to a car ablaze at a service station in Axbridge today (Wednesday).

The car at the station in Mendip Road was well alight when two crews from Burnham-on-Sea arrived at the scene at about 12.25pm.

The crews extinguished the blaze using breathing apparatus, a hose reel and one compressed foam jet.
