FOUR fire crews from Weston and Burnham were called to a holiday park after reports of a fire this afternoon (Wed).

The firefighters set out after they received reports of a fire in a chalet at Pontins holiday park, in Brean Sands at 3.44pm.

A water bowser from Bridgwater was also sent to help.

On arrival crews confirmed there had been a small fire in a single storey chalet but the blaze was out on arrival.

On site fire wardens had extinguished the fire using four foam fire extinguishers. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service has confirmed the cause was accidental.
