Firefighters called to two-car collision

FIRE crews were called to a collision involving two vehicles this afternoon (Mon).

Two fire engines, one from Burnham and one from Weston, were called to the A370 on the Weston Road in East Brent at 1.29pm.

The crews confirmed two vehicles has crashed, with a woman trapped inside one of them.

Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and got the casualty out using hydraulic cutting equipment.

The area was then made safe and the incident was left with the police and ambulance service.
