Firefighters put out blaze in Brean

Fire crews were called to a car alight in a Brean car park on Tuesday night.

Firefighters from Burnham were called to South Road at 8.20pm following reports of a car on fire near a caravan park.

Crews used breathing apparatus and a hose to extinguish the fire.

The car was severely damaged by the blaze and the cause is believed to be accidental.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
