Volunteers enjoyed a first aid refresher course on the weekend as they brushed up on their life-saving skills.
Jeff George ran a first aid course for the Friends of Grove Park on Sunday.
Jeff said: "In perfect care given is far more valuable than perfect care withheld.
"Every second that passes, the chance of a successful outcome passes.
"One of the most primal things us humans can do is to reach out to another human being.
"The Friends of Grove Park do amazing things everyday, even when they don't know it.
"Giving is caring and there is no greater act than kindness."
