First buses introduce new airport link this weekend

Westonians will be able to travel to Bristol Airport more quickly and easily than ever before.

First buses new A3 AirportFlyer service will launch on Sunday and will provide direct links from the airport to Cleeve, Congresbury, Worle and Weston railway station.

Services from Weston will begin at 3am each day and will run hourly until the last bus at 10pm.

The new daily service will have wheelchair access and space for passengers’ luggage.

First Group’s general manager for Weston, Andrew Sherrington, said: “It will be great for people who work at the airport as well as those jetting off on holiday, who can start and end their holiday in style.”

Robert Sinclair, the chief executive officer for Bristol Airport, said: “The new bus service will assist both passengers and staff needing frequent services to and from the airport.”
