A FAMILY Chinese take-away restaurant has been nationally recognised for hygiene, just five months after opening.

In 2005, the Times reported that the restaurant had been shut down due to poor health and safety - but under new owners, Ming's in Nailsea High Street has received five stars from the National Safety Council.

The Leung family began business in Swansea where flourishing success led them to open another restaurant in Nailsea.

Despite a slow start, Ming's is beginning to thrive as whispers spread afar and take-away revellers indulge in five-star quality food.
