A flood warning will remain in place tonight (Thursday).

The Environment Agency has issued the alert for Burnham-on-Sea, Uphill and Kingston Seymour where tides could reach a height almost seven metres at around 8pm.

Low-lying coastline and roads in these areas will be affected and people are being warned to take care along beaches and coastal footpaths.
