Floral fun to be had at village show

THE finest flora in Banwell will be on display at the village horticultural show on September 1.

The event will feature classes ranging from the traditional flowers, fruit and vegetables, to wine, baking, floral art and a variety of children’s categories.

If you live in the village or are a member of the Banwell Allotment Society then you can bring your entries to the village hall in Westfield Road on September 1 from 8.30-10am.

The show starts at 2.30pm and prize-giving will be at 4pm.
