St Nicholas Church in Uphill Road South, Uphill, held the flower festival throughout the weekend.

The event was organised by Lynn Pack and a team of volunteers.

Around 25 people spent time putting their flower arrangements together to brighten the church.

Visitors were able to admire the displays as well as enjoy a free cream tea.

Reverend Mark Madeley said: “It went really well and thankfully the rain stayed off so we had a lot of visitors.

“A lot of people helped out and everyone had a great time.”

The church will also host the village’s scarecrow festival on September 20-21, when cream teas will again be served.
