Villagers in Redhill marked the start of this year’s harvest with a festival and flower show.
The event took place at the village club, in Church Road, and saw people enter their best vegetables and floral displays into a range of tightly-contested categories.
The busy day also included tasty ploughman’s lunches, teas, cakes and a barbecue for anyone feeling peckish, while a knock-out boules competition was also very popular.
Children were also able to have their faces painted while adults browsed stalls in the hall.
