A FLOWER show was held in a Somerset village in memory of a woman who provided bouquets and arrangements for its church.

Anne Baker was paid tribute to at Berrow Flower Festival at St Mary’s Church in Coast Road, Berrow. The three day festival saw a range of flowers on display to raise money for the upkeep of the building.

Verity Trevor-Morgan, the chairman of the Friends Of St Mary’s Church, said: “She was quite a well-known figure in the Berrow and surrounding area.

“We decided we would like to do that as a celebration of her life.

“It was brilliant.”
