A TOTAL of £2,026 was 
raised by Broad Community Trust for Marie Curie and 
Children’s Hospice South 

Weston United and Axbridge Town enjoyed a 10-10 draw 
in one of two charity 
football matches refereed 
by Premier League official 
Ron Ganfield, before the 
former won the tie on 
penalties at Banwell Football Club.

An auction, with lots including a signed Ricky Hatton 
boxing glove and picture, pushed the total past £2,000.
