AN AUTHOR is celebrating after her second book has hit the top spot of the free downloads chart for its genre.

Alienora Taylor’s second novel, Come Laughing, is 69 short tales of humorous erotica blending humour with blunt speaking and lyrical prose-poetry.

Alienora, aged 57, from Wrington, said: “It’s all about my attitude towards sex. It’s funny, it’s got some explicit stories, it’s humorous.”

Alienora who used to teach English at Worle Community School, gave up her career to focus on writing full-time.

She said: “I have been writing since I was eight and I have been keeping a journal since 1972.

“Writing is just like breathing to me, it’s something I have got to do.

“The book has been number one of free erotica both here and in the United States, which I was amazed at.”
