There will be lots of advice available ahead of the winter


A FREE electric blanket testing session will be taking place in Weston later this month.

The session will take place in Somerset House in Oxford Street between 10am-2pm on November 18, and will feature information and advice on fire safety; reducing fuel bills; insulation and heating grants/discounts; gas appliance servicing; and the dangers of carbon monoxide.

Free tea and coffee will be available, as well as advice from Trading Standards.

Appointments to test blankets must be made before the session, by calling Trading Standards on 01275 888651.
