A NEW shuttle bus has been launched while roadworks are being carried out in Weston.

Crosville Motor Services is operating the service from Worlebury to Weston.

Buses in the area have been severely affected by roadworks being undertaken by Wessex Water on Upper Bristol Road.

The shuttle bus service will operate until the temporary traffic lights have moved from the road.

The bus departs from Worlebury Woods at 25 minutes past the hour between 9.25am and 2.25pm.

Bus stops on Cliff Road, Furze Road and Woodspring Avenue will then be served. Buses depart from Worlebury Golf Club at 30 minutes past each hour.

Passengers returning from Weston town centre can catch the shuttle bus from Stop V on Regent Street on the hour from 10am to 2pm.

Normal service will resume once the current phase of roadworks has been completed.
