FREE smoothies are on offer for patients who sign up to help improve health in their community.

Volunteers are invited to a Patients Partnership Group meeting at Worle Health Centre in High Street on Monday at 6.30pm or one at St George’s Health Centre in Pastures Avenue on June 21 at 6.30pm.

Sainsbury’s is sponsoring smoothies for every patient who attends.

The Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) are aimed at the continual improvement of services and care in the local health service – and to improve communication between the health centres and those who use them.

The groups aim to help patients take more responsibility for their health, and help to give practical support for the health centre and to implement change.
