A fun run organised by two friends raised £4,000.
Callie Pothecary and Jemma Milton organised the Make The Point 10k, which took place in Kewstoke.
They raised money for Chicks and Tiny Tickers.
More than 100 runners signed up to the event, and attended the fun day afterwards, where there were games, stalls and cakes.
Callie said: “We have been overwhelmed with comments, feedback and local support, with many people asking for Make The Point to be an annual event. We have provisionally booked July 9, 2017 in our diaries.”
