PEOPLE who are searching high and low for a Christmas outfit or would like to reinvent their wardrobe are being invited to a clothes-swap event in aid of a Weston charity.
Weston Hospicecare has organised its first ever frock exchange which will take place at Oak and Glass in Uphill Road North at 7pm on November 23.
As well as picking up a new outfit, people can also treat themselves to a makeover provided by Clinique and receive hairdressing advice from the Upper Cut Salon.
Tickets cost £10 and include a welcome drink and canapés as well as a goody bag.
There will also be a raffle on the night with prizes from Clinique, Ellis in the Making and Oak and Glass.
Sarah Cummins, fund-raiser, said: “We are all really excited about this event.
“Everyone loves to have a special outfit at Christmas and this is a great affordable way to get a ‘new to you’ outfit whilst helping your favourite local charity.”
The hospice is hoping to raise more than £1,000 from the event which wouldprovide medication for the in-patient unit for nearly two months.
