STAFF at a vital animal rescue charity in Somerset said thank you to fundraisers at an open evening on Friday.

The event was organised by staff at the RSPCA North Somerset centre in Brent Knoll, and had a variety of informative activities for prospective volunteers to join in with.

Among those thanked was Harriet Dickinson from Brent Knoll Guides, who raised £140 by organising a three-legged walk around Apex Park in Highbridge.
