A HANDYMAN from Congresbury says he is sick of being greeted by the whiff of a portable toilet every time he goes out of his back door.
Since May, Bob Capel and his wife Nora have had to live with the smell day in and day out from the building site next to their home in Well Park.
The 63-year-old who works for Bristol City Council says he has no idea who is responsible for the loos but has approached the parish council to ask it to help him.
"He said: "The toilet is an eyesore and the smell is bad.
"Children climb in and out of it as well, so really it needs to be enclosed.
"I have recently heard that the toilet could be there for three or five years while they are developing the site.
