SLEDGES and snowmen dominated the weekend as freezing temperatures meant snow remained in the region throughout the weekend.

Several inches of the white stuff fell on Friday, and while the Met Office is warning of hazards with widespread ice around, it did not stop hundreds of people enjoying the wintry conditions.

People young and old donned hat, gloves and scarves as snow sculptures were built with a varying degree of success.

And many families took to the slopes for a day’s sledging before the snow melts away.

Despite all the fun, hundreds of you have been sending in your snow-related pictures to weston.iwitness24.co.uk
