THE Old School Rooms in Congresbury was lit up by a colourful array of flowers, photographs and produce during the horticultural society's spring show.

Congresbury Horticultural Society’s show saw daffodils and hyacinths on display in the floral classes – with Sarah and seven-year-old Erica Heiermann among the winners in the adult and junior categories.

The society again this year joined forces with St Andrew’s Primary School, with about 30 youngsters taking part in an art project. Aaron Rolfs won with his bird drawing.

There were also photography and domestic classes too, ensuring there was a big turnout on March 28.
