THE best tribute acts performed in Weston at the weekend during the Big Fake Festival – an event which saw hordes of people fill marquees and circle the stage in Clarence Park.

This was the first time the show has been held in the town, and showcased a host of acts including mimics of Brit Award winners the Arctic Monkeys, U2 and Coldplay, as well as local support acts.

The Weston Fake Festival is a welcome addition to the hugely successful Fake Festivals tour, the only touring tribute of its kind.

Food stalls, a marquee and an entertainment zone was set up in the park where hundreds of youngsters, music and festival lovers were able to enjoy the family day.
