MICKEY and Minnie Mouse launched the annual May Day fair in Bleadon on Monday.

The annual event began with a fancy dress parade from the Church of St Peter and St Paul, before the event got underway at the Coronation Halls in Coronation Road.

There were plenty of stalls and games to enjoy as well as entertainment from the Chalice Morris Men, Smokestax Blues Band and dances from the Bleadon brownies.

The money raised on the day will go towards local charities.
