PUXTON Park celebrated a major milestone with a day filled with fun activities and games.

The event marked the attraction’s fifth anniversary and also saw the launch of its new adrenaline zone and little farmers’ zone areas.

There were performances from the Hutton Moor Street Dancers and the Two Tone Band, while some of the park’s livestock was also on show to the public.

The park will hold a fundraising day in aid of Children’s Hospice South West on July 21.

The event will feature activities and entertainment including a live performance from musician Mark Venus, puppet shows, face-painting, falconry displays and water walkers.

Volunteers from the hospice will also be on hand throughout the day to talk to visitors, while park managing director Alistair Mead has pledged to match the money donated on the day.
