MORE than 150 people celebrated the start of summer in Jubilee Park, Coronation, with free games and live music.
The event formed part of Neighbours’ Day, which aims to bring communities together by encouraging people to talk to their neighbours.
The event also coincided with the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation, and to mark the occasion the Friends of Jubilee Park planted an oak tree from an acorn collected from one of the royal households.
The St Barnabas Church team provided free cream teas, and children took part in sport and wildlife activities.
