King Alfred School's annual Year 11 prom

HUNDREDS of students from King Alfred School in Highbridge made their way to the Year 11 prom using a variety of modes of transport.

More than 200 pupils made their way to the ball at Rookery Manor in Edingworth on May 27 by limousines, Porsches, Ferraris, tandems, jeeps, bikes and even a car decorated as a shark.

On the same night, more than 60 sixth formers from the school attended their own prom on the Grand Pier in Weston, arriving in style in open top buses.
