Pro Nationals Motocross weekend in Weston.

TWO days of motocross action saw more than 10,000 people flock to Weston’s seafront at the weekend.

The Pro Nationals Festival, organised by e22sports, also had monster trucks and BMX entertainment in a fun-filled two-day event.

Stunt riders performed tricks and flips, while bikes and quads battled it out along the beach in a number of hard-fought races.

A beach party and fireworks were held on Saturday evening.

A spokesman for e22sports said: “Despite some rain we had a fantastic turnout for the Pro Nationals Festival.

“Thousands of spectators came to enjoy the festival atmosphere, thrilling motocross racing, especially the new Whoop Loop and all the other action sports. We hope the fans had a great time and we can’t wait to come back next year.”

Last week, event promoter Matt Bates told the Mercury he was hoping to bring the Pro
Nationals back to the town next year with live music and more shows.
