SEVERAL budding photographers were on hand to capture works to Weston’s rail and road links this week.

The improvements to the railway line at Worle and roadworks at the Town Hall are hard to miss, but in case you did Sally Griffiths and Nick Page Hayman were on hand to capture them on camera.

The stars of iwitness this week were Jackie Caven and Terry Kelly. Jackie captured the juxtaposition of the steady structure of the Grand Pier alongside a crumbling Birnbeck in the distance, as well as multiple stunning shots of North Somerset wildlife.

Terry Kelly was out and about day and night, getting a feel for spring with Weston’s floral arrangements and photographing Weston’s newest sign.
