THOUSANDS of people were splattered in paint on Weston beach yesterday (Sunday) - but it was all for a good cause.

The Weston Colour Run is set to raise £55,000 for Weston Hospicecare in Uphill.

Our photographers were on hand to capture the day and you can see our double-page spread in this Thursday’s copy of the Mercury. You can also click here for our video of the event.

However, our readers have been busy emailing and tweeting us their pictures, with hundreds submitted to our iwitness site. Have a look at our online gallery and see if you can spot yourself amongst the colourful faces!

- If you took photos and want them added to our gallery, tweet us at @WSMercury or email our reporter Grace Earl at

- Weston Hospicecare is still gratefully accepting donations for Weston Colour Run. If you’d like to donate simply text WHCR15 £5 to 70070, or visit the website to find out about other ways of fundraising.
