My friends Si and Jem that run Coles Kitchen have organised this weekend's zombie run. They asked me to direct and photograph the promotional shots for the event, so I took the Zombies to the college and Grove Park. Here are a few that I took.

IT IS the end of the world as we know it - or could just be the latest interactive game to hit Weston.

There were many more of these elaborately-designed outfits, as dozens of the undead swarmed into town for a zombie chase experience at the weekend – the first of its kind in the town.

Backyard Events, the company which brought the outdoor cinema to the Old Town Quarry, launched the themed event for fans of science fiction and gore.

Participants in the game were split into two groups, zombies and survivors, and each had a mission to complete.

Players were told an unknown virus had taken over and was turning the population into the infected creatures.

The zombies had to chase down the survivors and remove their tags to infect them, while survivors had to get to a scientific research centre, where the game ended, while avoiding being touched by the zombies.

Survivors were only told on the day where the research centre was, so they couldn’t plan a route in advance.

Backyard Events treated all the zombies and survivors to a showing of Shaun Of The Dead after the adrenaline settled down.
