Games console up for grabs

PUBLISHED: 08:00 24 November 2010

BUSY customers at tomorrow’s (Thurs) late night shopping launch could be in with a chance of winning a games console in time for Christmas.

There will be an increased police presence in the town centre as Avon and Somerset Constabulary begin Operation Jingle, a scheme which aims to tackle antisocial behaviour and shoplifting.

Shoppers are being urged to register their new purchases with certain websites such and as an additional measure to protect their goods.

Police will be handing out leaflets promoting this and those who register will be entered into a draw and the winner will receive a games console.
