CLASSIC cars were lined up bumper to bumper for a gay motoring enthusiasts' event at Frankie Howerd's former home.Members of the Gay Classic Car Group visited the comedy legend's home in Cross after they were invited by owner Chris Byrne.A special pink edition Morris Minor, a yellow Austin pick -up and a Hillman Super Minx took pride of place on the lawn of Wavering Down.Tea, scones and muffins were served to the 80 members who made the journey from as far as Leicester. Chris said: "The event went amazingly well. It was a real treat to see the cars on my lawn and the owners are more than welcome to come again.
