THE final list of General Election candidates for Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset has been revealed this afternoon.
The deadline for nominations passed at 4pm this afternoon (Thursday) and the list was released by North Somerset Council in the last few minutes.
Dr Liam Fox and John Penrose are both standing for re-election on May 7.
Weston:
Clive Lavelle (English Democrats)
Dr Richard Lawson (Green)
John Munro (Liberal Democrats)
John Penrose (Conservatives)
Tim Taylor (Labour)
Ernie Warrender (UKIP)
North Somerset:
Greg Chambers (Labour)
David Derbyshire (Green)
Dr Liam Fox (Conservatives)
Ian Kealey (UKIP)
Marcus Kravis (Liberal Democrats)
Rachel Ling and Emma Rome applied to jointly stand in Weston-super-Mare but the nomination was not in keeping with current laws and declared invalid.
