WESTON members of the Girls’ Brigade organisation attended a special ceremony, which saw them join up with the Bristol District, following the closure of the town’s group.

Following the closure of the Weston District of the Girls’ Brigade in December, the two remaining companies - 1st Weston and 1st Nailsea - joined the Bristol District.

A service of celebration took place at Clarence Park Baptist Church and the brigade companies paraded out behind their new district colour.
