A GROUP of women took part in a bike ride as part of the UK's biggest female cycling initiative.
The Big Breeze Bike Ride set off from Winscombe on Sunday along with more than 130 other rides taking place across the country.
The event aimed to get more women on their bikes with the average number taking part in cycling shrinking despite the growing popularity of the sport.
Natalie Justice, project manager said: “What a wonderful weekend of cycling. We knew when we launched it last year it was a special event but to see all the pictures come through with smiles on, just brings it all to life.”
