DISGRACED rocker and former Wedmore resident Gary Glitter will not be returning to Somerset.
Glitter says he wants to settle in Hong Kong after completing his jail sentence for molesting two girls in Vietnam.
Glitter, real name Paul Gadd, is about to start his new life in Hong Kong, where there is no sex offenders' register to track his movements.
The 63-year-old was also arrested at his home in Wedmore in 1998 after obscene images of children were found on a computer which he took to a PC World store in Bristol for repairs.
