Go Kids Go! initially had £9,000 to give away this year but thanks to a last-minute rush of support from Weston Carnival, Weston College, and Weston Town Council, it now has £12,000 to dish out.

The scheme is in its sixth year and so far Go Kids Go! has given out more than £60,000 to a range of organisations in Weston and its surrounding villages.

It has helped to fund new school playgrounds, camping trips for scouts and guides, sports equipment for budding athletes, gardening clubs and much more.
