Weston Hospicecare

AFTER months of hard work and fundraising Worlebury Golf Club made a £7,083 donation to one of Weston’s leading charities.

Captains of the club held golf competitions, raffles, charity balls and collections in order to raise the sum for Weston Hospicecare.

The cheque was presented at men’s captain Peter Nuttall’s final speech to the club as captain.

Mr Nuttall said: “There are so many members of the club who have a connection to the hospice and many of them have said how pleased they are that they have been able to help this year.”
