CHEDDAR Gorge, the reservoir and Brent Knoll have all been featured on the opening credits of a new television programme.
ITV's Sunday show, Britain's Favourite View, started earlier this month and follows celebrities around the country as they describe their favourite vistas.
Although newsreader Trevor McDonald can be seen standing in Cheddar Gorge with Brent Knoll and Cheddar Reservoir in the background, the show doesn't actually feature the Somerset villages.
A spokesman for the programme said: "Although there is some lovely scenery in the area, Trevor probably stopped off to film in Somerset, but unfortunately it is not one of the places featured in the show."
