A GOVERNMENT minster paid a visit to the National Farmers Union (NFU) in Somerset to discuss a wide variety of issues.

The Rt Hon Jim Plaice, Minister of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, visited the NFU’s office in Rooksbridge on August 28.

He was met by local group secretary Mike House and at a round table discussion dairy markets, bovine TB and agricultural policy reform were all talked about.
