Grade II status for war memorials

Two war memorials in Somerset villages have been listed by Historic England.

Wedmore’s memorial in Church Street and Brean’s at St Bridget Church in Church Road have received Grade II-listed status.

They were both created in the 1920s and were listed for their historic interest in commemorating World War One and World War Two.
