STAFF from the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare volunteered to help clean up the town’s beach.
The attraction’s team got involved in this year’s Great British Beach Clean Up and collected bags of litter.
The pier’s general manager Paul Charalambous said: “We all have a part to play in turning the tide on litter and all our volunteers were delighted to show their support.
“Litter is dangerous for people and marine wildlife and is also damaging to our tourism and fishing industries, it is important we keep our beaches clean.”
