A CLEEVE grandfather has completed a 15,000ft skydive in aid of a hospital charity.
Drummond Forbes, aged 68, took on the challenge to raise money for Above And Beyond – a charity which raises money for city centre hospitals in Bristol.
The charity’s Golden Gift appeal is raising £6million to benefit the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.
Drummond, who is on the board of the charity’s trustees, said: “We all benefit from Above And Beyond’s work.
“When I jumped from that plane I thought of all those who have put effort in and supported our Golden Gift appeal.”
