WRINGTON Twinning Association is looking for volunteers to provide accommodation or transport for a French football team which is visiting next month.

About 18 15-year-olds and seven adults will be visiting from Villeneuve-Lès-Béziers – a town in Southern France which is twinned with Wrington.

The team will fly into Bristol Airport on May 6 and will stay in the village for four days.

The association’s committee will organise entertainment during the day, however accommodation and transport is needed.

Breakfast should be provided and an evening meal if possible.

A knowledge of the French language would be helpful as the boys’ English is mixed.

Anyone interested in helping out should contact association chairman Frank Finn by calling him on 01275 472081.

Alternatively, he can be emailed at
