Museum visitors can immerse themselves in games from their childhood during an exhibition about growing up in Somerset.

Gameboys, dominoes, table football and Tamagotchis are just some of the classic games on display at Weston Museum, in Burlington Street, until May 5.

The exhibition entitled, From Spinning Tops To Space Hoppers: Growing Up In Somerset, features photographs, costume, toys and games from the past 150 years.

Families can try out the retro video consoles including the Super Nintendo, or take on their friends at table football.

Matthew Hardy, visitor services manager for Weston Museum, said: “The exhibition is great for children, parents and grandparents to enjoy together.

“It provides a chance to reminisce about family life, childhood, school days and all the toys and games that everyone remembers.”

Entry to the exhibition is free.

The museum is open every day, apart from Mondays.
