A GUIDED walk where participants will hear tragic stories will be held in Weston Cemetery this month.

Chris Richards of North Somerset Council's ranger and museum services will be leading the walk to tell visitors about history dating back to the Bronze Age.

The walk will be held on March 30 at 2pm and will last about 2hr 30min. Anyone wishing to take part should meet at the top gates to the cemetery in Lower Bristol Road. Entry is £3 per person.

This is the first in a series of guided walks and talks organised by the service. On April 13 a walk around Priddy lead mines will be held and on April 27 tours around a medieval fishpond in the Black Canons will be one of the features on a walk around Abbots Leigh.
