Half marathon training for charity runners

TWO friends are training hard ahead of their half marathon in aid of Weston Hospicecare.
Weston’s Josh Hazzard, of St Pauls Road and Steve Papaleo, aged 21, of Ashcombe Road are running the Bristol half marathon in September for the charity.
The boys are running 20-30 miles a week in preparation for the run with an aim to complete it within 90 minutes.
Josh, aged 20, says: “We are mostly looking forward to the feel good factor of finishing the race as it’s something we both have wanted to do in life and hope to press on for a full marathon eventually.
“The hospice is very important to me as my stepmother had her last few weeks there before she passed away.
“She was looked after superbly and was dealt with in such a loving and respectful way.
“The hospice has a way of making the most upsetting and disheartening situations a little bit better, just by its environment and the way staff do things.
