What Halloween events are taking place in Weston-super-Mare in 2018?

Tricks and treats will be ready to scare and excite people this Halloween with a number of ghoulish events planned.

Here are just a few celebrations taking place in and around Weston over the spooky period:

• The Grand Pier, in Marine Parade, will once again host its Halloween Unfairground from today (Thursday) until Wednesday at 7.30pm each night.

Tickets, starting at £12.50, are available at www.grandpier.co.uk

The pier will also host a Spookfest for youngsters on Halloween which will start at noon. Tickets, priced £10, are available from the website.

• Don’t Go Into The Cellar will perform Dracula’s Ghost at the Burnham’s Princess Theatre, in Princess Street, tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm.

• The North Somerset Bird of Prey Centre, in Smallway in Congresbury, will hold an owl Halloween-themed day on Saturday.

From 4-6.30pm you can fly an owl, hold a snake and meet some peculiar animals.

Tickets, priced £5-10, are available on arrival.

• The Crown Inn, in St Marys Street in Axbridge, will host its Halloween Spectacular event this Saturday at 9pm.

• Weston Museum, in Burlington Street, will host a kids Halloween crafts event each day from 11am-3pm from Tuesday to November 1.

Youngsters can make a different spooky creation each day during half-term.

• A Halloween party will take place at The Beachcomber, in Brean’s Warren Road, on Wednesday from 6-11pm. Children’s games and live music will be on offer. Entry is free.

• A Halloween party will be held at West Huntspill Railway, in New Road, on Wednesday.

Pop along from 6-8pm. Tickets cost £1.

• Murder On The Pier returns to the Grand Pier, in Marine Parade. Guests will sit down to a three-course dinner before trying to suss who the murderer is.

The event will take place on November 2 at 7pm and tickets, priced £34.50, are available at www.grandpier.co.uk

• The Rocky Horror Picture Show sing-a-long cinema and party will be held at the Winter Gardens, in Royal Parade, on November 2 at 7.30pm.
